REBER electric meat grinder plate No. 22 is made of C55 carbon steel and is the ideal complement to Reber's electric meat mincers with mincer body No. 22.

The plate is available with holes of different diameters, to be selected according to the type of meat to be minced. It is possible to choose the size of the hole diameter of each plate from the drop-down menu.

A plate with a hole diameter of 8 mm and a knife in C55 carbon steel are included as standard in Reber's semi-professional electric meat mincers.

If you wish instead to purchase an AISI 420 stainless steel plate, you can do so herein which case it is strongly recommended to also purchase the AISI 420 stainless steel knife (select No. 22 from the drop-down menu), to prevent two different types of steel coming into contact with each other and causing problems and premature wear.

REBER electric meat mincer plate No. 22 is made of C55 carbon steel and is the ideal complement for Reber electric meat mincers that mount the No. 22 mincer body, such as the REBER meat grinder No. 22 electric 600 W HP 0.80 9500N classic model or REBER meat grinder No. 22 electric 600 W HP 0.80 9500NC short model. This type of steel has a degree of hardness equal to stainless steel, so the product's durability and cutting pattern are very similar to those of stainless steel. Visually, the surface of the plate gives a shiny effect.

It is important to use plates with holes appropriate to the meat to be minced. In fact, for minced meat that is relatively lean, a plate with holes of 4.5, 6 or 8 mm can be used. For sausage or black pudding, a plate with 8 to 12 mm holes is suitable. For salami mixture, plates with holes of 10 mm or more are traditionally used. For fatty meats or mixed meats with large amounts of fat, it is traditional to first use a plate with large holes for a first pass and make a second pass with a plate with smaller holes. It should also be noted that using a plate with holes that are too small may slow down the grinding process and heat up the meat.

It is possible to select the size of the hole diameter of each plate from the drop-down menu. If you own a REBER No. 22 electric mincer, please note that a plate with 8 mm holes is fitted as standard.

• Before use, the straightener should be washed with lukewarm water
  
• After washing, the plate must be dried thoroughly
  
• The plate is made of carbon steel, so it can rust!
• After use, the plate should be washed thoroughly with lukewarm water and neutral soap; it should then be dried quickly to prevent rusting. To protect against rust, it may be advisable to apply a little food-grade oil to the surface and inside the holes.
  
• The presence of oil on the plate is normal as it preserves it from rusting
• Scratches or small imperfections are normal on carbon steel plates
