The Chef at Home machine looks like a bench-top kneading machine made of anodised aluminium and stainless steel, of great strength and 'substance'. It is equipped with a kneading trough inside which are a rotating arm whip and a bottom extrusion propeller.

Steel mixing bowl with micro-switch

Chef in the house code 750 is equipped with a practical steel kneading trough. Inside the tank there is a rotating whip with vertical arms (horizontal rotation of the whisk pin engaged on the motor and arms mounted at 90° to the axis of rotation) that allows the mixture to be mixed well. In addition, on the bottom, there is a stainless steel propeller which is used to push the mixed mixture towards the extruder. It is important to note that the shape of the tank, which has a frame that at the bottom 'squeezes' around the propeller, ensures that almost all the contents are turned into pulp and the reduction of residual stock.

The kneading tank is also equipped with an opening cover with a microswitch. Once opened, the machine stops working, to comply with safety regulations. The lid, however, is perforated. It is therefore easy to add a little preparation, especially water or flour, without interrupting operation.

The knife is very simple to use: once applied to the front, in front of the extruder, you turn the crank to the desired speed and the dough is cut. Obviously, the faster the rotation, the shorter the dough and vice versa!

 

The electric knife can be purchased separately

The electric home chef knife code 298 is purchased separately. Via an electric wire it is connected directly under the control panel of the machine. In this way it receives electric motion directly from the motor and can rotate automatically. In addition, its speed can be adjusted by the knob on the top.

This accessory allows the cutting capacity of the machine to be adjusted to obtain longer or shorter pasta as required.

The front control panel

This model of kneader and extruder is equipped with a single control panel at the front, which is mounted on the motor frame. Operation is via a mechanism controlled by an electronic board. There are only two buttons: 'mixer' and 'dough'.
