Shipping costs in Italy

Orders with a total amount exceeding Euro 100.00 are shipped free of charge to Italy.

For orders of less than EUR 100.00, the system calculates a transport fee based on the destination location and weight of the ordered goods. In addition, the system also takes into account the warehouse of origin of the material.

The shipping costs start from Euro 4.90 per single shipment, for lighter products.

This cost, however, is not feasible for disadvantaged or difficult-to-reach locations.

 

How the system determines the cost of shipping to Italy

Our site compares the postal code (ZIP code) entered by the customer with the database of ZIP codes present and then associates this code with the weight and origin characteristics of the product(s) ordered.

This may lead to different delivery times (if the warehouse of origin is multiple) but also to different or increased shipping costs.

There may be rare cases where the postcode is missing. In this situation We invite you to contact us to verify the disservice and provide the appropriate shipping cost.

It may also be the case that a location may be inconvenient because it is located in an area with the same postcode but in a different, not inconvenient municipality. If the customer recognises this situation, again, he may contact us to perform a manual recalculation of the shipping cost.

If by using the site the customer places an order for an amount lower than Euro 100.00 but the system still does not calculate any shipping cost, the order must be considered non-executable and incorrect due to a computer error of the site. Should such a situation occur ElettroWebStore reserves the right to cancel the order by returning, if applicable, the price paid to the customer without the customer being able to raise any exception of any kind to ElettroWebStore. ElettroWebStore may also ask the customer to supplement the payment made by adding the shipping costs.

 

How to value destination addresses correctly

The system does not automatically check the data entered in the destination fields of the goods. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to enter correct and truthful data.

ElettroWebStore reserves the right not to process an order and to cancel it in the event of inconsistencies between the various shipping data entered (e.g. different postcodes than the correct destination postcode).

The customer is therefore responsible for shipping even if the cost is included in the price. It must therefore be up to the customer himself to provide the best possible information to enable the couriers to make the delivery.

Therefore, the customer is obliged to carefully check the destination data and to provide all necessary and correct information for order processing as early as when placing the order. The Customer must also provide all additional information necessary to deliver the goods where the place of destination is isolated, outside built-up areas and/or in sparsely populated locations.

We strongly advise customers to check the destination address of the goods using services such as Google Maps. In the above-mentioned cases, it is strongly recommended enrich the destination data with the exact GPS position, also provided via links, to be communicated to the courier in advance in order to enable the correct delivery of the goods.

ElettroWebStore ships goods to all locations in Italy, operating only with leading couriers (BRT, SDA, DHL).

ElettroWebStore ships goods to various locations outside Italy, operating only with leading couriers (DHL, UPS). The service provided is economical by road. At present, the site does not independently calculate the costs of shipping abroad. They must therefore be estimated from time to time by our operators.

The goods are always sent to the Customer via a transport and delivery service offered by a third-party carrier, whose effectiveness and quality of performance is monitored by ElettroWebStore.

 

Product dispatch rules

The customer, by purchasing from ElettroWebStore, acquires the goods 'ex our warehouse of departure'.

The costs of transport and delivery, understood as the costs of the service and responsibility for it, always fall on the purchaser. This also applies when the goods are purchased with the 'shipping cost included in price' promotion.

ElettroWebStore will provide the material for courier pick-ups in the best possible packaging conditions to enable a high quality service.

The customer may, if interested and logistically possible, arrange at his own expense for a professional courier to collect the goods.

ElettroWebStore warehouses are not open to the public. Access may not be granted to personnel who are not provided with the appropriate material (e.g. safety equipment) and professional (e.g. specific skills and insurance to be able to work in goods depots) requirements laid down by law.

In the event of breakages, transport defects, or related problems, it is the purchaser's responsibility to check the consistency of the goods.

In order to guarantee more protection for the purchaser, the latter can always purchase the shipping insurance service, which protects him/her in the event of damage to the product during transport for causes not attributable to ElettroWebStore.

In the event of problems, ElettroWebStore shall, within the limits described above, offer its customers the greatest possible support in solving problems related to the management of courier deliveries.

 

Shipping and delivery in Italy: inconvenient locations

Some locations in Italy are considered by couriers to be inconvenient. Therefore, the generally expected shipping and delivery costs will have to be adjusted if necessary during pre-order or post-order.

The www.elettrowebstore.com site automatically manages shipping costs based on the postcodes (postcodes) that the user enters when closing the order.

As a result, the system automatically assigns a shipping rate based on the rates that couriers charge to deliver to the area requested by the customer.

It may happen, however, that some bad areas are not correctly evaluated by the automatic system. In such cases, the ElettroWebStore team may adjust the shipping and delivery charges to be applied to the order.

This is without prejudice to the Customer's right of withdrawal.

In the event that the shipping costs are not reconsidered, ElettroWebStore, at its sole discretion, may opt to abandon the sale. In this case, the contract shall be considered terminated. ElettroWebStore. will then refund the buyer the amounts paid, notifying him by email.

 

Shipments abroad

Couriers operating abroad also differentiate shipping zones within individual countries. Some shipping zones are considered mainland while others are considered overseas. Overseas shipments are more expensive. For example, shipping to Barcelona, Spain, is much cheaper than shipping to the Balearic Islands.

Therefore, before purchasing the service for your destination, it is advisable to check the service coverage areas with an appropriate communication.

In the event that shipping costs abroad are incorrectly taken into account, ElettroWebStore may contact the Customer to rectify the amount paid.

In the event of non-acceptance by the customer, ElettroWebStore may decide to abandon the sale. In this case, the contract shall be considered terminated and the amounts paid shall be returned to the purchaser.

The purchaser will be notified by e-mail when the situations indicated occur.

It is good to consider that the system may not be able to properly calculate all the costs associated with a shipment abroad, considering the geographical complexities and the articulation of the parameters imposed by the couriers. Therefore, the customer must always bear in mind that, in these cases, ElettroWebStore reserves the right to cancel the order by returning, if applicable, the price paid to the customer without the customer being able to raise any exception of any kind against ElettroWebStore. ElettroWebStore may also ask the customer to supplement the payment made by adding the shipping costs.
