This Reber electric meat grinder is equipped with forward and reverse gears. The reverse gear is used to unlock the motor in case there is too much meat blocking the propeller. In fact, it can often happen that nerves and tougher pieces of meat can coil around the propeller and fill the body of the grinder. In such cases, it is advisable to engage the reverse gear so that the product can be released.

The plate and knife of this mincer are made of tempered carbon steel. This means that they can rust if not properly maintained.

The short neck ensures that the meat being processed leaves the machine immediately, preventing it from getting too hot. Obviously, less meat will enter the body and, therefore, it will have to be inserted more often. Therefore, if you want to avoid this minor inconvenience, you should purchase theequivalent long-neck model 9500N.
